Lucy worked as a transactional lawyer for nine years, has three and a half years’ working for a national conveyancing company where she headed up a team of residential property support lawyers across three sites and has worked at Freeths as a Property Knowledge Lawyer on the Knowledge Team since 2016.  Lucy has therefore gained a wide range of property experience for a varied mix of clients. 
 
Lucy’s work at Freeths involves resolving technical queries from Real Estate lawyers at all levels of qualification/experience across Freeths’ 13 offices.  Lucy also provides training and guidance, specifically on Land Registration issues, SDLT and searches.  
 
Lucy’s role also involves updating and creating precedents, guidance notes etc. and contributing to/writing internal and external blog posts.  Lucy also manages relationships for the firm with the Land Registry and property search providers.
 
Lucy is a member of APSL and the Residential Property APSL sub-group. Lucy is also a member of the Document Excellence Group.
