Katharine Fenn

Solicitor, Fieldfisher
My role as professional support lawyer is to keep the real estate department up to date with changes in the law. This encompasses training, know-how, current awareness, drafting precedents, identifying topics for articles and writing and editing them.

I have over 30 years' experience in real estate, 10 of which were as a fee earner in major City firms. I have a wide experience of a huge range of real estate transactions.

I speak at external conferences on a regular basis.

I sit on the editorial boards of Estates Gazette and Landlord & Tenant Review, as well as on the editorial board of the commercial property channel of isurv, the award-winning RICS online service.

I am in constant touch with government departments, such as the Land Registry, to discuss developments in real estate law and practice and their effect on practitioners and our clients.
