Michelle Deveaux

Michelle Deveaux is a lawyer of 19 years with extensive experience in high value cross-border trust litigation, having previously developed a robust practice in offshore jurisdictions of the British Virgin Islands and Barbados Michelle regularly represents and advises high net worth individuals, institutional fiduciaries, banks and corporate clients on trust and estate administration matters, insurance and property disputes inclusive of cross-border litigation. Her practice has quickly developed through providing expeditious and discrete resolution of trusts administration issues with urgent advice and urgent directions applications on behalf of trustees and beneficiaries. Michelle’s work has more recently involved: the winding up of a deferred benefit pension fund advising and representing the trustee through the process; securing swift variations of restraint orders over assets managed by corporate fiduciaries subject to proceeds of crime investigation; and the restructuring of underlying corporate structures and loan financing to decant into Bahamian trusts.
