Andrew Todd is General Counsel and Company Secretary for Springfield Properties plc, Scotland’s only listed housebuilder. He worked at McGrigors (now Pinsent Masons) and Dundas & Wilson (now CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang) before joining Springfield in 2014 as their first in-house lawyer. He now leads a team of three lawyers dealing with all legal work for a construction company and listed plc. He was senior tutor in Commercial Awareness and Conveyancing at the University of Glasgow between 2012 and 2018 and is currently external examiner for the University of Aberdeen for its Diploma in Legal Practice Conveyancing course. He is co-author of The Lands Tribunal for Scotland: Law & Practice, Commercial Awareness for Lawyers in Scotland, Commercial Awareness for Lawyers in England & Wales and is the editor of Scottish Conveyancing Legislation.
