I have over 20 years’ experience of practice in the public and private sectors, including in EU law, constitutional and administrative law, human rights law, commercial law and financial services law.
I spent over 10 years as a Government legal adviser, including in Brussels as First Secretary (Legal) in the UK Representation to the EU, in HM Treasury during the financial crisis, and as adviser to the Prime Minister during the Treaty renegotiations preceding the EU referendum. Since 2016, I have worked in the Financial Conduct Authority, advising on the impact of Brexit on financial services.
