Carolina Aguirre U was born in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1976. During her college years started to work as legal assistant at Bufete Aguirre Soc. Civ. In 2001 when she obtained her licentiate degree as Attorney at Law she became a Partner at the firm. In 2015 she moved to Santa Cruz to manage the firm´s office in said city, where she is currently based now. She is member of the Board of Directors of Fundacion Pro Bono Bolivia, entity currently being incorporated in the country and she is also member of the Steering Committee of the Women in the Profession (WIP) project, both initiatives of the Vance Centre. She edits the firm’s newsletter “Orientación Legal”, a by-monthly publication of the firm. She speaks Spanish and English.
