Andrea Muirhead
I studied LLB Law with French, and in addition to my law degree I have a French legal studies diploma and speak fluent French.
Post Law Society Finals, I was employed in research and teaching in the ‘Centre for Urban Development and Environmental Management’ at Leeds Metropolitan University, whilst completing my MA Degree in Waste Management.
I trained at Browne Jacobson in Nottingham and London, and on qualification moved to SJ Berwin to work in their Planning and Environment Department.
From 1999 I worked in house with Certa (UK) Ltd in Contaminated Land and Environmental Insurance, and was involved in drafting and negotiating environmental insurance for brownfield redevelopment sites including the Millennium Dome and Ravenscraig (Europe’s largest brownfield site).
From 2013 I worked as a consultant with Obelisk Support for clients including BT and LexisNexis.
I joined LN in 2018 in the Environment Team where I am a Professional Support Lawyer. I also head up the LexisNexis Green Team, and I am an Employee Representative and a member of the European Works Council.
I am an active member of UKELA.
