Feli Oikonomopoulou
Feli is a Legal Counsel and Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, specialising in Banking & Finance and Capital Markets. In her current role, she advises on a wide range of contemporary regulatory issues and large scale regulatory reform projects, in areas including capital markets reform; Brexit implications to UK financial services; sustainable finance; fintech/regtech; and digital assets. She has previously worked with a leading US investment bank, prior to which she practised investment management and financial regulation at Linklaters (Luxembourg & Paris). She has also been a legal advisor to the European Investment Fund and the Central Bank of Greece. She is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and a qualified lawyer in Greece.
Feli volunteers to “The Chancery Lane project” and with “Refugee Action”. In 2020, she received the BofA Professional Skills Sharing Award.
