Amélie Champsaur
Amélie Champsaur is a partner resident in the Paris office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. Her practice focuses on M&A, capital markets and financial transactions, particularly in the financial sector. She also advises clients on a broad range of EU financial regulatory and compliance matters, as well as cross-border aspects of the Dodd-Frank reforms.
Amélie was awarded the Prix du Juriste HEC 2012 and she was recently recognised as one of the '40 under 40 Rising Stars' for legal services in the EU by Financial News and as a 'Rising Star' by Magazine des Affaires for her noteworthy work on M&A and financial regulatory matters. She is recognised by Legal 500 as a key member of the firm's M&A practice in France, and was a nominee for the 2014 Euromoney LMG Europe Women in Business Law Award in Corporate Governance.
She is a member of the Bar in Paris. Her native language is French, and she is fluent in English and proficient in Italian and German.
