Prior to commencing pupillage, Jasmine worked as a Senior Caseworker at INQUEST supporting bereaved families undergoing inquest proceedings. Her work specialised in inquests raising issues of state accountability in psychiatric care, prison, police custody and immigration detention settings. Prior to this, Jasmine worked in Policy and Standards for the HCPC advising healthcare professionals on regulatory issues and fitness to practice. She has also previously worked as an Independent Mental Capacity Advocate supporting clients with welfare issues and advising decision-makers on mental capacity, serious medical treatment, accommodation decisions and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
 
Jasmine has a Masters degree in Medical Law and Ethics (King’s College London) and studied Jurisprudence at Exeter College, Oxford. She completed the BPTC at The University of Law (Very Competent).
