Anthony Rose

Senior Tax Partner, Simmons Gainsford LLP
I currently head up the Tax Disputes team at Simmons Gainsford LLP and have over 25 years professional experience in this area. This includes reaching settlements with HMRC in relation to EBTs/ disguised remuneration structures covering the various opportunities over the last ten plus years.

I am an advocate of using mediation in the right circumstances to try and resolve disputes with HMRC. More recently I have been involved in a number of successful ADR cases which have covered a wide range of different technical matters.

Currently as of May 2022, I have been involved with instructing and supporting Tax Counsel in relation to three appeals to the First Tier Tax Tribunal on behalf of clients.

Additionally, I have a wide range of practical experience in private client matters including in the areas of residence, domicile, and international tax planning generally.
