Alec Cohen, Managing Director, Head of Capital Markets Legal UK

Alec Cohen is a Managing Director in the Legal Department at CA-CIB, London. His legal teams are located in both London and Paris, and cover capital markets documentation (including the Paris-London Master Agreements Platform), structured notes issuance, alternate products and solutions transactions, complex and flow derivatives, Islamic finance derivatives and distressed asset workout and restructuring (CDOs and other cash and synthetic products, commodities run-off business). Mr Cohen has been active in the derivatives business for many years and has been a regular guest speaker for ISDA.

Mr Cohen is a graduate of New York University, Stern School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science in finance, as well as a graduate of Fordham University, School of Law, where he received his juris doctor degree. He is a member of the Bar of the State of New York.
