MacKenna Roberts

MacKenna is a life sciences regulatory and litigation lawyer who has worked in private practice, international institutions and, most recently, continues in-house as General Counsel to Choice Health, a medical imaging company that supports clinical trials. MacKenna is also a member of the Lexis®PSL Life sciences team since 2019 with a focus on content related to the regulatory frameworks for medicinal products and medical devices in the UK and EU, including digital health, advertising matters, M&A transactions, and disputes and competition guidance in the life sciences. MacKenna is an experienced strategic advisor assisting clients in the commercialisation of medical innovations at the frontiers of medicine, specialising in advanced therapies (cell therapies/tissue engineering), genomic testing and digital health technologies. She also regularly speaks on these topics and has published in numerous journals and textbooks and holds several advisory board member roles, including on the scientific advisory board of the International Society of Cardiovascular Translational Research (ISCTR) and as legal advisor to the global governing board of TERMIS (Tissue Engineering Regenerative Medicine International Society). She trained at a London top 50 IP litigation firm and has experience on several high-profile High Court IP litigation matters and holds a masters in medical law and ethics from King’s College of London.
