Tom was called to the Bar in 2009, he has practiced from Hailsham Chambers since 2018, having previously been a tenant of another leading set since completing pupillage in 2010. He is recommended in both Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 as a leading junior barrister and specialises in all aspects of injury law, with a focus on serious personal injury cases, and clinical negligence matters as well as professional negligence actions arising out of failed or mishandled injury cases. 

He has experience both as lead and sole counsel in cases concerning injuries of the maximum possible severity, including those in which damages run comfortably into eight figures. 

He is an advocacy and ethics trainer for Gray’s Inn and sits part-time as a Judge of the First Tier Tribunal (Social Entitlements Chamber).
