Jasmine Wong Kah Man is the sitting President of the Association of Women Lawyers (AWL), where she leads advocacy on legal reform, equality, and justice. A litigator by background, she focused on public interest litigation, where she assisted in securing citizenship for stateless persons and contributed to precedent-setting case law in the Federal Court on children’s right to nationality. She has written on the subject in the Malayan Law Journal and in Judicial Review in Malaysia: Case Commentaries on Key Topics (Thomson Reuters, 2024).

Deeply passionate about policy and legislative reforms affecting women, children, and marginalised communities, Jasmine serves on the Malaysian Bar Council's Committee for Persons with Disabilities. She is regularly featured in the media on statelessness, gender equality, online harms such as doxing and revenge porn, and broader law and policy reforms affecting women and youth. Her contributions have been recognised by Prestige Malaysia’s 40 Under 40 (2020), ALB Malaysia’s Rising Stars (2022), and ALB’s Woman Lawyer of the Year (In-House) award (2025)
