Siân McGibbon

Siân is a specialist public law barrister with a busy practice spanning all aspects of administrative, constitutional, human rights, and local government law. She is already recognised as a Legal 500 ‘rising star’ has appeared in more than twenty reported cases including five before the Court of Appeal and six before the Privy Council.  

Before joining the Bar, Siân studied law at the University of Oxford, and worked as a judicial assistant to Hamblen LJ (as he then was) in the Court of Appeal. She retains a strong academic interest in her areas of practice; she is assistant editor of the Judicial Review journal, and is currently completing a PhD in the field of public law at University College London.
