The use and management of the electromagnetic spectrum to broadcast and receive signals is governed by the Wireless Telegraphy Act 20061.
Where broadcasting is used as a term to describe the transmission of audiovisual content intended for presentation to members of the public, however, the following statutes apply:

(1) the Broadcasting Act 19902;

(2) the Broadcasting Act 19963; and

(3) the Communications Act 20034.
