(ii) Energy Performance Certificates
Where a building1 is to be sold or rented out, the relevant person2 must make available3 free of charge a valid energy performance certificate4 to any prospective buyer or tenant5:
-
(1) at the earliest opportunity6; and
-
(2) in any event no later than whichever is the earlier of:
-
(a) in the case of a person who requests information about the building, the time at which the relevant person first makes available any information in writing about the building to the person7; or
