What does Parameters mean?

In relation to a dco, the Order (in particular its provisions) will set the parameters of the scheme in relation to form, scale, location and elements of the scheme including any restrictions, or limits of deviation if any subsequent flexibility is to be allowed. Such parameters must relate to the assessment of environmental impacts that have been carried out. There is also a relationship with the "rochdale envelope" in terms of how schemes may evolve, the need to understand the relationship between parameters and robust assessment of significant environmental effects.

DPA suitability checklist Court's oversight of the interests of justice and fairness, reasonableness and proportionality The UK deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) regime provides for judicial oversight of DPAs. After negotiations as to the terms of a DPA have commenced and before it has been concluded, the court must determine: • whether it is likely to be in the interests of justice, and • that its proposed terms are fair, reasonable and proportionate Therefore, each factor must be supported by clear and persuasive proof in order to seek to persuade the court to approve the DPA. They have a self-selecting, trusting audience that can typically be categorised by age, sex, location and/or interest.
