This Practice Note tracks live European Commission’s (EC) trade remedy investigations. The Directorate General for Trade Defence of the EC is tasked with investigating dumping, subsidies and safeguards and recommending that anti-dumping duties, countervailing duties or safeguard measures be imposed in the interest of the EC’s domestic industries. In addition, the EC is tasked with a multitude of reviews related to the imposed trade remedies.
