Secretary of State grants development consent for London Luton Airport Expansion
The Secretary of State for Transport has granted development consent for the London Luton Airport Expansion project. This project involves the expansion of the airport’s passenger capacity from the current permitted cap of 18 million passengers per annum (mppa) to 32 million mppa, including new terminal capacity, additional taxiways, and other transport infrastructure. The expansion also includes the construction of landside support buildings, surface access adjustments, and mitigation works, along with other associated development.
