Staff training & awareness

The procedures put in place to implement an organisation’s bribery prevention policies should be designed to mitigate identified risks as well as to prevent deliberate unethical conduct on the part of associated persons. An important aspect of those procedures is the communication of the organisation’s policies and procedures to staff (of all levels), including implementing training in their application. This is reinforced by Ministry of Justice (MoJ) principle 5—Communication (including training), outlined in its guidance to the Bribery Act 2010.
