Autumn Budget 2024—Tackling tax non-compliance in the umbrella company market

TPC publishes response to consultation on changes to employment tribunal rules

The Tribunal Procedure Committee (TPC) has published its response to the consultation on proposed changes to the Employment Tribunal rules. The consultation, which ran from 3 April to 26 June 2024, sought views on rule modifications necessitated by the transfer of rulemaking responsibility from the Department for Business and Trade to the TPC, as mandated by the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022. The consultation also addressed a limited number of additional rules. This publication marks the culmination of the process, providing insights into how stakeholder feedback will shape the future procedural framework of Employment Tribunals in England and Wales.
