Special managers

What is a special manager?

A special manager is a person with either commercial and/or other skills appointed by the court to assist an insolvency practitioner to deal with an insolvent party’s property or business. They will not necessarily be an insolvency practitioner, but they may be an expert in some other field where the insolvency practitioner requires assistance.

A special manager will be granted powers by the court under the order by which they were appointed.
